… METAL!

Well, Death Metal, Industrial Metal, Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Metalcore, Alt Rock and Ska with some Leonard Cohen to mark his passing. Angry music! To match my angry mood at the world changing. Watching the rise of fascism and post-factual politics around the world is alarming. Hearing about the rise of racism and hatred and intolerance is making me angry.

So I found myself listening to a lot of Arch Enemy, and Motorhead, Rob Zombie, The Agonist, AC/DC, Iron Maiden and Black Flag to round it out. I feel like an angry teenager. But also like Murtagh. I’m too old to be an angry teenager, so something’s wrong with the world.

Anyway, here’s Arch Enemy, with their ex-lead singer and quality death growler Angela Gossow, “Under Black Flags We March”. Some might say that it’s all a bit over the top, but isn’t that the point? \m/
