David Bowie, dead at 69

David Bowie died on 10th January, 2016, or perhaps, he just went home:

David Bowie has returned to his home after an all too brief sojourn amongst humanity.

The departure means that sadly it is the world that looks very different today.

I was never that big into Bowie, I just knew most of his more popular tracks, but he was one of those personalities who was just always there, and I’ve realised over the years that he was pretty influential: a lot of the bands I like were influenced by Bowie. You can see how his passing has left a void.
